I have a soft spot for the delicate hues of Blue Lace Agate - This form of agate comes from the southwestern deserts of Africa. I like contrasting its soft hues with the bold look of copper. This one's a tall oval, held tightly in a woven bezel which has the pretty "cathedral ceiling" type of finishing touch at the top.

I used pure copper wire, oxidized it to achieve a timeless "antiqued" look, and then polished it to bring out the copper highlights. It will darken over time. To keep the highlights shiny, buff gently with soft flannel or jewelry cloth. Protect from scratches and bumps against hard surfaces or other jewelry.
