I can't be sure what this stone is - it could be dyed quartz or could be something I'm not familiar with....but it's such a pretty purple, I decided to give it a home in a nice sterling silver frame anyway....

I used solid sterling silver wire on this one and left the metal in its natural state. Care for it as you would all your other sterling silver jewelry - but DO NOT immerse the piece in any type of jewelry-cleaning solution.
