Like its natural counterpart, this synthetic stone displays chatoyancy (cat's eye phenomenon) that looks like a bright narrow slit of light like a cat's eye (I didn't really capture that well in my photos). This piece is a lovely lemon yellow, and has a definite "magic" light that moves when you move the stone....very cool!
Antiqued, polished and sealed. Will not darken further or rub off on skin. No polishing needed.

I used pure copper wire, oxidized it to achieve a timeless "antiqued" look, polished it to bring out the copper highlights, and then sealed it to capture its patina and prevent further darkening. No further polishing will ever be needed. Protect from scratches and bumps against hard surfaces or other jewelry.
