I love the look of antiqued silver against this shade of purple! Like its natural counterpart, this synthetic cat's eye stone displays chatoyancy (cat's eye phenomenon) that looks like a bright band of light like a cat's eye. This piece is a lovely brilliant blue and has a definite "magic" light that moves when you move the stone....very cool indeed!

I used solid sterling silver wire on this one, and oxidized it to achieve a timeless "antiqued" look.. I polished it and buffed it up a bit to bring out the silver highlights. Care for it as you would any other silver jewelry...
