A lovely piece of mysterious Moss Agate (also called mocha stone) - a semi-precious gemstone formed from silicon dioxide. The green swirls are actually minerals of a green colour embedded in the stone, forming filaments and other patterns suggestive of moss. The unusual copper enclosure adds to its intrigue!
Antiqued, polished and sealed. Will not darken further or rub off on skin. No polishing needed.

I used pure copper wire, oxidized it to achieve a timeless "antiqued" look, polished it to bring out the copper highlights, and then sealed it to capture its patina and prevent further darkening. No further polishing will ever be needed. Protect from scratches and bumps against hard surfaces or other jewelry.
